I have to tell you all about an AWESOME service a friend of mine told me about after church last Sunday, It's a website that allows you to trade CDs you have for the CDs you want.

You pick the CDs you want here. Enter the artist, album or song in the search bar. There is a selection of 1,403,231 CDs, just click "want" and it goes to your Want List.

Go to the "Have" button to add to your Have List. List all your CDs to increase your odds of getting CDs from your Want List.

This is great guys. My friend has already tried it and it works beautifully! The sweet part about it is that they only charge $1.00 for each CD and .49 for shipping!!! I get my first CD this week and I am so excited! They will supply you with the stamped envelopes.

This is an exclusive club so you have to be "invited". What you do is go to the website and select "Interested in Joining" and insert your email address. Your invitation will come to your inbox the next day. It's just that simple! You will receive further details on the service when you join.

This week two of my favorite bloggers - poetrydarling and mloftis50 - wrote about forgiveness. I read this in the Washington Post last Sunday. Not to make light of forgiveness because it is essential to our well-being. Carrying around past hurts is a very heavy load to carry throughout your life and will make you old and bitter very quickly. In other words, just not a fun person to be around. So do like Mariah says and "Shake it off" and get on with your life!

My troops had a lot of fun with me at our unit picnic teaching me the proper way to drink tequila. "Pop, what are you talking about?" the son screams. We can't stand the sight of each other any longer," the father says. "We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Chicago and tell her."

Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. "Like heck they're getting divorced," she shouts, "I'll take care of this," She calls Phoenix immediately, and screams at her father, "You are NOT getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then,don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?" and hangs up.

The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. "Okay," he says,"they're coming for Thanksgiving

and paying their own way."

Dear Kids,

I am very happy in the new residence you have put me in. This week we actually got to go outside for an hour.

I haven't been feeling very good this week - the friend I shared a room with died yesterday. I am coping pretty well with my sorrows. It's been six months since you've visited me last, I guess you're all pretty busy. It's OK, I've learned to use the Internet to pass the time. And the computer in the rec room has a pretty decent web cam.

So you can remember what I look like, I have attached a recent picture of myself. You all take care, and write to me soon.

A cabbie picks up a Nun. She gets into the cab, and the cab driver won't
stop staring at her. She asks him why is he staring. He replies, "I have a

She answers, "My son, you cannot offend me. When you're as old as I am and
have been a Nun as long as I have,

you get a chance to see and hear just about everything.

With all the misery and suffering going on in the world right now I still had to pause to pay respects to one of the funniest men who ever lived - REDD FOXX. He passed away today in 1991. I can't mention Redd Foxx without mentioning Lawanda Page who died in 2002. Thank God for reruns because they still keep us laughing

A couple from Minneapolis decided to go to Florida to thaw out during

one particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the very same

hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier.

Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their

travel schedules. So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on

Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day.

The husband checked into the hotel. There was a computer in his room,

so he decided to send an e-mail to his wife. However, he accidentally

left out one letter in her e-mail address, and without realizing his

error, he sent the e-mail. Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston, a widow

had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a minister

of many years who was called home to glory following a sudden heart attack.

The widow decided to check her e-mail expecting messages of condolence

from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she fainted.

The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor,

and saw the computer screen which read:

To: My Loving Wife

Subject: I've Arrived

Date: 16 January 2004

I know you're surprised to hear from me. They have computers

here now and you are allowed to send e-mails to your loved ones. I've

just arrived and have been checked in. I see that everything has been

prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then!
